Energy of photon

E = hc / λ

= E ∝ 1 / λ

Hence, energy of photon increases as the wavelength of light decreases. Also, momentum of the photon p = E / c

⇒ p ∝ E

Thus, momentum of the photon also increases as its wavelength decreases.
